Project Peanut Butter – New RUTF Feeding Clinics in Ivory Coast

HFF does not consider unsolicited requests for funds and grant applications are provided by invitation only.

Ivory Coast is a developing country in West Africa with an unmet need for treatment services for child malnutrition.

Project Peanut Butter (PPB) has implemented successful malnutrition treatment programs in Malawi, Sierra Leone and Ghana. These programs have included full production facilities for therapeutic and supplementary foods as well as identification and distribution networks to treat malnourished children.

PPB, with support from The Hershey Company, is establishing such a facility in Ivory Coast, and HFF is participating to help establish the treatment clinics that will be supplied by the new factory production. It is expected that over 500 children will be treated in the first year. This is a huge first step in bringing hope for malnourished children in the region. The combined, leveraged investment of HFF and Hershey Company is a game-changer for kids in Ivory Coast.
