Educare Arizona and Balsz Education Arizona Center for Health (BEACH)

HFF does not consider unsolicited requests for funds and grant applications are provided by invitation only.

HFF joined several other local and national funders to establish Educare Arizona, an early childhood education center for children birth to five, in the Balsz School District in Phoenix. As part of the national network of Educare Centers, this Educare school is one of the few that includes an on-site integrative health center, known as BEACH.

The Health Center is operated under NOAH (Neighborhood Outreach to Health) in affiliation with Scottsdale Healthcare.

In addition to support for the construction of BEACH, HFF provided funding for the purchase and installation of necessary equipment for two state of the art preventive and restorative dental bays for Educare students, their siblings, their family and ultimately any student in the district, where 100% of students qualify for the free and reduced lunch program.
